NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) will officially reach 100 lunar days of  “collecting scientific data at the Moon” in Oct. 2017, according to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. The probe launched in 2009. Learn how a lunar day differs from an Earth day.
