End of The Winter Olympics - South Korea / North Korea seen from the International Space Station
With the 2018 Winter Olympics coming to a close we look at South Korea as it was seen from space on the 18th February 2018.
These images were taken by the astronauts of Expedition 54 aboard the International Space Station ISS.
The video starts in China and at around the 4:30 minutes you can see , or rather you can't see North Korea. Most of the country is in darkness showing in lack of infrastructure.
At around 5:23 Pyongyang - the capital is seen roughly in the center of the screen. You can spot the border with South Korea as lights shine right across that country.
Finally we cross the Sea of Japan and reach Japan itself.
